Deacon Program

The deacons of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 156 Highway 448, present: “Be the Light You Were Created to be to a Dark World”. Scripture from Matthew 5:14A. You are cordially invited to help them celebrate their Annual Deacon Program at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Van Kemp, Greater Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, Greenville.

 

Family & Friends Day

The Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church of Moorhead will have their annual Family and Friends Day at 11:00 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Ms. Lora Dean. Please feel free to worship with us on this day.

 

Annual Men and Women’s Day Program

The members of the Indianola Christian Church, 410 Roosevelt Street, invite you to their Annual Men and Women’s Day Program at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Mrs. Cynthia W. Chandler, Sunflower County Tax Assessor-Collector. She will address the theme: “Where There is No Vision the People Perish” taken from Proverbs 29:18. The public is given a special invitation to celebrate this momentous occasion with the members of the church and friends. Dinner will be served immediately folowing the service. 16th Year Appreciation Service

The members of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 138 Charlie Ellis Road, invite you to the 16th Year Appreciation Service for their pastor, Dr. Alexis Hamilton and First Lady Miriam Hamilton at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Rev. Norman Mack, pastor of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Inverness will deliver the message. The public is invited.

 

Divine Healing

Ross Ministries School of Discipleship's teaching lesson "Divine Healing" continues at 6:15 p.m. each Wednesday, March 20th, 27th & April 3rd.  If you need healing in your body, marriage, or finances plan to attend these meetings and learn God's way. Location: Full Gospel Church located in the  Lovelace Shopping Center beside the Tower Loan building.

 

4th Year Anniversary

The Pleasant Grove Church family will celebrate their 4th Year Anniversary of its pastor and wife, Rev. Rodney Richard and Mrs. Valincia Richard, at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24. Rev. Harvey Bluiett, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church of Hollandale, MS will be the guest speaker.

 

I Am That I Am Program

New Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 305 Quiver Street, Sunflower will be celebrating I Am That I Am Program at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 31. Thanking you in advance for spiritual participation.

 

Sunday Message

Ross Ministries’ Pastor Charlie Ross will be delivering a powerful message from God on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Full Gospel Church, located in the Lovelace Shopping Center beside the Tower Loan building.

 

Revival

First United Baptist Church of Moorhead will be having a three-night old-fashioned Revival at 7 p.m. nightly March 19 to 21. Minister Kyle Pernell will deliver the message on Tuesday and Wednesday and Pastor Herman Cole will climax the service on Thursday. All churches are invited.

 

Spring Raffle

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is hosting The Spring Raffle 2019 on Friday, March 22. Tickets can be purchased from any parishioner or by calling the church office at 887-4659.  There will be multiple drawings: 1st drawing is $1000; 2nd drawing is $500; and 3rd drawing is $250. Also, Larry’s Fish House will be providing fish plates for $12; plate tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the drawing. Eat in or take out. No advance tickets for the fish plates will be sold.

 

Scholarship Banquet

Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church presents the 6th Annual Kathryn Rice Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, March 23 to be held at Greater Lee Chapel A.M.E. Church in Moorhead. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and admission is $10.

 

Clothes Giveaway

Ross Ministries School of Discipleship will be giving away free clothes to those in need on Saturday, March 23rd from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Full Gospel Church, located in the Lovelace Shopping Center beside the Tower Loan building.

 

112th Anniversary

Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church will be celebrating their 112th year Anniversary on Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m. The speaker for this great occasion will be their very own Rev. T.L. Martin Jr., who invites you to come and make it an old-time Holy Ghost Revival.

 

Anniversary Program

You are invited to attend the Tyshonn Murphy anniversary program at St. Matthew M.B. Church on Sunday at 3 p.m. Sis. Shelia Mabrey will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.
