Fall Festival
McAbee Productions presents a Fall Festival to take place beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1003 Airport Road, Indianola. Masks and social distancing will be required. Participants include The Disciples, Bishop Randle & The Voices, The Delta Boyz, Pastor Jabari Baymon, Changed Men of Christ, Kadeen Morris & The Voices and many more. Feel free to bring your own chairs.
Explorer’s Bible Study
Explorer’s Bible Study (EBS) announces its Fall 2020 classes: Monday evening classes are being held at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday morning classes are at 9:15 a.m. Both classes meet at First United Methodist Church in Newman Hall to study “The Only True God: Knowing the God of the Bible.”
This is a topical study so anyone can join at any time after registering. Online EBS study groups are also available with Zoom meetings held each Monday night online at 6:30. The weekly Zoom group meetings are recorded and placed on a private Facebook page along with the weekly lectures for each lesson for anyone registered and interested in participating online. The cost of a study book for any class is $30.00 for the semester. Scholarships are available upon request.
