A cold front moved through the Delta last night delivering chilly air for your Friday.
Highs will only reach the lower and middle 60’s this afternoon with sunshine and a chilly north wind. Overnight lows will fall to the upper 30’s and lower 40’s. High pressure will dominate our weather this weekend. Highs will be in the 70’s with lows in the 50’s and mostly sunny skies.
The ridge of high pressure will shift slightly to the east beginning next week. This will allow for southerly flow to return.
Monday through Wednesday highs will be in the 70’s with slight chances for showers each day; more areas will stay dry than not.
Overnight lows will be in the upper 50’s.
Due to the strong ridge of high pressure a cold front will try to move through, but unfortunately won’t make it through the area. It looks like cooler air will move back in by next weekend and next week. Of course, that is over a week away, so we will get more specific over the coming days…God bless
