A week after the Gentry High School basketball program and all other activities were shut down due to COIVD-19, it was announced Tuesday Thomas Edwards (Ruleville) will be clearing the court for the same reason until further notice.
The Sunflower County Consolidated School District announced this week that a player tested positive over the weekend, prompting the district to place activities on hold indefinitely.
“No games or practices will be conducted during this period,” the statement from SCCSD said.
