The B.B. King Museum & Delta Interpretive Center announced last week that it has closed once again.
The museum is reportedly closed until at least Aug. 4, according to a Facebook post by the museum.
Indianola’s top tourist attraction had reopened in early July to modest crowds, but the recent surge in COVID-19 cases caused the museum’s leadership to shutter for now.
“As much as we hate to disappoint visitors who were planning a trip to the Museum this month, we have decided to close again until at least August 4,” post said. “As the number of cases of COVID-19 continues to rise, we are committed to doing our part to keep those numbers as low as possible. Please continue to check back with us for updates.”
