Escaped Parchman inmate back in custody

The Mississippi Department of Corrections says escaped Parchman inmate Arthur Lestrick was captured yesterday in Nashville.

Lestrick, 40, is serving a life sentence.

He was reported missing on Sunday, and a $2,500 reward was offered for information leading to his capture on Monday.

He was sentenced Nov. 18, 2009, to life for capital murder in Copiah County.
