On September 13, at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Sunflower County Circuit Clerk Carolyn Hamilton was sworn in as an officer for the Mississippi Circuit Clerk’s Association Board of Directors. This nomination came on an recommendation from a former Program Manager of the Mississippi Judicial College. This is the beginning of a five-year term. Hamilton will serve as Secretary her first year, followed by Treasurer, Second VP, First VP and finally President of MCCA. Previously when shewas a Municipal Court Clerk, she served on the Board of Directors for four years, with the fourth year being President of the Mississippi Municipal Court Clerk’s Association.
