The men of Rasberry United Methodist Church will present their first annual Black History Program, Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Rasberry United Methodist Church, 511 Hanna St., in Indianola.
The theme for the event is: "Remembering the Past, Living in the Present, Planning for the Future." District Attorney W. Dewayne Richardson, Fourth Circuit Court, will address the topic. The program will recognize "First” Black History makers past and present in Sunflower County and surrounding communities.
With a promise to be a rewarding experience, the program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
