S.O.S. a huge success

The late Davion “Dee” McClain’s legacy will be strong for years to come in Indianola.

The Saving OurSelves (S.O.S.) co-founder passed away in late April, but he had been planning the backpack, school supply and school uniform giveaway for area youth, and last Saturday, the event launched with a resounding success.

Dozens of families gathered at the Scout Hut to pick up these much-needed supplies for the upcoming school year.
