Indianola police answered the following calls,

On January 7 at 7 p.m., a 33-year-old North Fendason Road, Hammond, Louisiana woman said her 16-year-old son refuses to obey or follow any instruction when asked to do something. The woman said the boy also refuses to stay at home and he's using illegal substances.




National Champs!

Indianola’s Leanne and Alan Silverblatt, owners of Young Ideas, got the experience of a lifetime on Monday night when they traveled to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for the National Championship game between LSU and Clemson. LSU earned its ninth overall championship and its first in the college football playoff era.





Indianola Lodge holds initiation

Indianola Lodge No. 450, F. & A. M. launched celebrations of their 120th Anniversary with the installation of officers for the Masonic Year on January 4. Officers from T. J. Catchings Lodge No. 394 in Inverness and Thomas Gaddis Lodge No. 379 in Hollandale were also installed in this Joint Installation Ceremony.
