There was a lot of playoff action today for multiple Sunflower County teams across multiple sports. 
The Indianola Academy boys soccer team will be playing in the first round of the playoffs today.  The team will travel to Vicksburg for a 1:30 start at Vicksburg Sports Force Park. 
The Rams basketball teams are alive and playing in the first round of the state tournament tonight and tomorrow night.
The Thomas E. Edwards Tigers and Lady Tigers basketball teams will be playing in the first round of the 3A playoffs tonight and tomorrow. 
Indianola police are currently investigating a Valentine's Day shooting that resulted in a two-year old child being injured.


JMG Student of the Week

The Gentry High School Jobs for Mississippi Graduates Student of the Week is Nakea Mickey. The senior Moorhead native plans to go into nursing with a dream job of being a registered nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering. She is pictured with JMG Instructor and Job Specialist Dr. Adrian Brown.
