Wilson leads revival

Pastor Herron Wilson conducted a three-night old time spring revival at Center Christian Methodist Episcopal Church located in Indianola during May. Each night God spoke: Monday's message was "Don't Let the Fire Go Out"; Tuesday's message was "Let's Go Fishing"; and Wednesday night’s message focused on "Building on the Solid Foundation."

Rosebud wins House seat, Senate hopefuls head to runoff

Its primary election season and the unofficial results of Tuesday’s Democratic and Republican races have been tallied.

The Sunflower County Circuit Clerk’s office issued the Democratic U.S. Senate results for the county as:

Omeria Scott – 260 votes

Howard Sherman – 248 votes

David Baria – 139 votes




Schaumburg to graduate from MSMS
