The Jobs for Mississippi Graduates Gentry High School Student of the Week is Le’Quinton D. Davenport. The senior Indianola native looks forward to becoming an entrepreneur after graduation in May, and his dream job is to be his own boss, fixing roads. In his spare time, he enjoys driving.




Outstanding Alumnus of the Year

Mississsippi Delta Community College President Dr. Tyrone Jackson was awarded the 2019 Delta State University Alumnus of the Year Award during DSU’s recent Homecoming game. Jackson is a three-time graduate of Delta State and began his career in higher education at the college.
