Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) has named a new director of financial aid in Terri Jo Banks.
Banks comes to MDCC from Rust College, where she served as director of academic advising and retention. She has also served in several capacities at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
“We are so excited to have Ms. Banks join the enrollment management team,” said Vice President of Effectiveness and Enrollment Dr. Ben Cloyd. “Not only does she bring a wealth of financial aid experience, but she knows the community college environment, recognizes the importance of efficient and quality operations and is deeply committed to student success.”
Dean of Enrollment Management Jay Gary is similarly pleased to have Banks coming on board.
“We are very excited to welcome Terri Jo Banks to the MDCC enrollment team, serving as our financial aid director. Her knowledge and experience will help move MDCC forward,” said Gary.
Banks feels her passion for the community college level will serve as an asset to MDCC.
“I am thrilled to be part of the MDCC team! I have a passion for the community college and the values that it holds. I am so happy to be back in this setting and back home in the Delta. I am looking forward to working with the students, administration, faculty and staff,” concluded Banks.
