Mr. Caston, 63, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2020.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.

Monday night’s meeting of the Indianola Board of Aldermen erupted into a shouting match between Mayor Steve Rosenthal and Alderman Marvin Elder, in which Elder appeared to make a veiled threat of violence against the mayor during the open session, and according to Rosenthal, again during executive session.

Indianola police made the following arrests,

On Monday at 9 p.m., Patrick Terrell Hodges, 35, 207 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with disturbance of family and discharging a firearm in the city limits after officers went to his home because a 62-year-old woman complained of shots being fired.
