Brown & Associates to administer municipal drug court grants

At the November 25 Indianola Board of Aldermen meeting, the city leaders approved a request made by Dr. Adrian Brown (Ph.D) and Municipal Court Judge Kuykendall Horne-Murry to employ Brown & Associates, Inc., to serve as the administrator for the acquired grants associated with the new Indianola Municipal Drug Court.





Entry error led to incorrect farmland tax assessment, board attorney says

In a special call session of the Sunflower County Board of Supervisors on November 26, Attorney Johnny McWilliams informed the county lawmakers that a data entry error resulted in incorrect farmland values being entered into the tax assessor/collector computers for processing.

And once again Pastor Guy Burke, First Baptist Church and other community members teamed up to provide that enriching experience for local high school football athletes.
