Mr. Woods, 72, departed from this life on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Redmon Funeral Home, Indianola, which was in charge of arrangements.


Ernest Webb

Services for Ernest Webb of Indianola will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Webb, 57, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.



Alberta Robertson

Services for Alberta Robertson of Moorhead will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Swan Lake Missionary Baptist Church, Moorhead.

Ms. Robertson, 63, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.

Polk graduates from MVSU

Dimitri Polk recently graduated with honors from Mississippi Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He is preparing to attend dental school in the fall of 2020. Dimitri is a former honor student of Restoration Ministries Christian Academy and Gentry High School.
