Mr. Harold “Price” Charest of Brandon, born Dec. 13, 1952 in Indianola, graduated to Heaven on Jan. 9, 2021 from complications of pneumonia and heart failure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Myrtis Charest and his brother, Robert Dexter Charest.
Price is survived by: his wife of 27 years, Wanda Brewer Charest; his three daughters, Delia Charest (Jose) Carias, Rebecca Elizabeth (Milam) Cotten and Amanda Charest; and four grandchildren, Mills Cotten, Dexter Carias, Embry Cotten and Felix Carias.
He was a 1975 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in pharmacy He was a well-known and respected pharmacist for 35+ years in Hinds and Rankin counties with most of his career as the owner of Super D Drugstore at the Reservoir. Price was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. An avid fisherman, he loved his time on the water fishing at the Reservoir and many other locations with his family. He retired in 2019 to do more fishing and enjoy his family.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pinola, Miss.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee, Miss.
