Spring Raffle

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is hosting The Spring Raffle 2019 from 5-7 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets can be purchased from any parishioner or by calling the church office at 887-4659.  There will be multiple drawings: 1st drawing is $1000; 2nd drawing is $500; and 3rd drawing is $250. Also, Larry’s Fish House will be providing fish plates for $12; plate tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the drawing. Eat in or take out. No advance tickets for the fish plates will be sold.

Clothes Giveaway

Ross Ministries School of Discipleship will be giving away free clothes to those in need from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Full Gospel Church, located in the Lovelace Shopping Center beside the Tower Loan building.

Scholarship Banquet

Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church presents the 6th Annual Kathryn Rice Scholarship Banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday to be held at Greater Lee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Moorhead. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and admission is $10.

112th Anniversary

Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating their 112th year Anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday. The speaker for this great occasion will be their very own Rev. T.L. Martin Jr., who invites you to come and make it an old-time Holy Ghost Revival.

Annual Usher Day Service

Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Inverness,  Annual Usher Day Service will take place at 11:00 am. Sunday. All churches and ushers in nearby vicinities are invited to attend.

Youth Day Program

Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Little Milton Avenue, Inverness invites you to their Youth Day Program at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. The speaker for this grand occasion will be T’Rossi Pernell of Moorhead.

4th Year Anniversary

The Pleasant Grove Church family will celebrate the 4th Year Anniversary of its pastor and wife, Rev. Rodney Richard and Mrs. Valincia Richard, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Harvey Bluiett, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church of Hollandale, MS will be the guest speaker.

Men and Women in Black and Red

The members of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church invite you and your church choir to help celebrate 50 Men and 100 Women in Black and Red at 2 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Brenda Bowie of Mercy Ministries Church, Sunflower.

Deacons and Laymen Prayer Breakfast

Sunflower County Laymen, will sponsor its prayer breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30. The program will convene at First United Baptist Church, 720 Coolidge. The guest speaker will be Rev. Otis Anthony. All laymen, deacons, pastors, and mission workers are asked to share in this special event. All churches are invited. If you have any questions, please call Bro. Pack the Pews Family and Friends Day

Temple of Deliverance plans to pack the Lord’s house at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 31. The speaker will be their very own Pastor Glenn Donald. Food will be served, activities for the youth, and so much more instore!
