Cops and Robbers January 16, 2020

Indianola police answered the following calls,

On January 7 at 7 p.m., a 33-year-old North Fendason Road, Hammond, Louisiana woman said her 16-year-old son refuses to obey or follow any instruction when asked to do something. The woman said the boy also refuses to stay at home and he's using illegal substances.

On January 5 at 3:42 a.m., officers were called to Goldberg's shoe store because of a burglary where $706 was reported stolen and damage was done to a front glass door.

On Sunday at 11:28 a.m., a 29-year-old East Washington Street, Moorhead man said someone vandalized his 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis at the Delta Inn and Suites hotel.

On January 4 at 12:21 p.m., a 57-year-old Clover Drive man said someone stole a trailer valued at $4,300.

On January 6 at 5:39 p.m., a 55-year-old Airport Road man said that while he was away from home someone damaged the storm door leading into his kitchen and he believes that one of his family members is responsible for the damage.

On Thursday at 4:13 p.m., a Seymour Drive woman said a 19-year-old Patricia Drive woman was harassing a 17-year-old Seymour Drive girl.

On Thursday at 12:56 p.m., a 32-year-old man said someone damaged his property.

On Friday at 3:12 p.m., a 26-year-old Birdsong Street man said that someone is attending Grand Canyon University using his identification and has forged his signature on a refund check worth $702.

On Thursday at 2:21 p.m., a 68-year-old South Virgie Street, Drew man said someone stole his black .38 Special out of his 1994 Chevrolet truck.

On Friday at 10:16 p.m., an 18-year-old Barnes Street man said a 38-year-old Airport Road woman driving a 2010 Dodge Charger backed into his 2018 Toyota Camry. Damage was reported to both vehicles, but no injuries.

On Sunday at 12:24 p.m., a Campbell Drive woman said two men asked her 10-year-old daughter for her phone number at Turner's Downtown Market.

On Thursday at 1:16 p.m., a 30-year-old Mill Street woman said someone broke into her home and stole an Xbox one.

On Saturday at 2 a.m., a 28-year-old Church Street man said someone broke into his home and stole a HP laptop computer valued at $249, a black Draco assault rifle valued at $800, a PlayStation 4 valued at $300, $200 worth of PS4 games and damaged a plastic window pane valued at $50.

On January 7 at 2:57 p.m., an Andersonville Drive, Clarksville, Tennessee man suffered damage to his 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe after the U-Haul trailer he was towing came loose on U.S. 49 near the Indianola Public Works building.

On Thursday at 1:05 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 33-year-old First Street, Belzoni woman did not scan several items at the self-checkout, scanned some items at a cheaper price and walked out of the store. She reportedly stole $45 worth of merchandise.

On January 4 at 9:52 a.m., a Sunflower Avenue woman at Community Choice Financial Services said a woman committed fraud and stole $2,950.

On Friday at 12:10 p.m., a Tuscola Drive, Grenada woman at AnyTime Cash Solutions said a 34-year-old Airport Road man committed fraud and stole two checks for a total of $360.

On Saturday at 8:08 p.m., a 20-year-old Duncan Circle man was reportedly issued a citation for failure to stop for officer's signal, running a stop sign, reckless driving and no driver's license after officers saw him leaving the Discount Liquor store area on Garrard Avenue in a 2015 Infiniti that did not have taillights.

The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County jail January 7 to January 14, 

On January 7 at 3:24 p.m., Anjelica Brandon Woodfork, 33, 710 South Elmwood Circle was arrested and charged with contempt of court.

On January 7 at 5:25 p.m., Sheakenia Brown, 41, 171 Shaw St., Mound Bayou was arrested and charged with malicious mischief and no/expired driver's license.

On January 8 at 11:41 a.m., Jamie Riley, 19, 1006 Broadmoor Drive, Apt. 66, was arrested and charged with contempt of court.

On Thursday at 4:43 p.m., Roy Lee Wright, 20, 203 Julianne Drive was arrested and charged with contempt of court.

On Friday at 1:10 p.m., Durancy Walls, 40, 526 Delmar St., Apt. 2, Ruleville was arrested and charged with probation violation.

On Friday at 6 p.m., Joshua T. Collier, 41, 308 Youngblood St., was arrested and charged with violation of drug court rules.

On Friday at 11:04 p.m., Willie B. Williams, 43, 908 Johnny Russell Drive, Moorhead was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission.

On Saturday at 3:59 p.m., Connie Caldwell, 57, 515 Oak Street, Ruleville was arrested and charged with contempt of court.

On Saturday at 10:25 p.m., Arkeith Demond Nolden, 20, 208 Duncan Circle was arrested and charged with reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, no/expired driver's license and fleeing—failure to stop when officers signaled.
