Cops and Robbers November 14, 2019

Indianola police made the following arrests,

On Thursday at 12:22 a.m., Michale Eugene Knight, 44, 34 Doster Road, Sunflower was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and profanity in public after an officer spotted him running a stop sign near Front Street Ext., and Westside Avenue and stopped him near East Percy and Catchings Avenue.

On Saturday at 6:55 p.m., Sherronda Faint-Hearon, 46, 110 Barnes St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting after a Walmart employee said she stole a $15 union suit, a 5-pack of baby bibs, and several other items.

On Monday at 8:26 a.m., a 64-year-old Oak Street woman said someone broke into her 2018 Chevrolet Malibu.

On Friday at 4:11 a.m., a 24-year-old Chandler Street woman said someone broke into her 2002 Honda Accord and stole a blue and pink purse valued at $15.

On Thursday at 12:54 p.m., a 66-year-old Kinlock Road man said someone stole his identity for fraudulent purposes.

On November 5 at 2:28 p.m., a Maxwell Avenue, Drew woman, driving a Chevrolet Impala and a Wildwood Drive, Greenwood man, driving a 2000 Lexus LX 7 were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Allen Road in the sheriff's department parking lot, but no injuries were reported.

On Tuesday at 9:35 a.m., a 61-year-old North Walker Street woman said a 60-year-old Walker Street woman fraudulently stole $1,075 from her.

On November 6 at 12:22 p.m., a 40-year-old Sandy Drive woman said a 36-year-old Gardner Street man violated a protection order.

On Thursday at 11:53 p.m., a 47-year-old Barnes Street woman said someone broke into her 2006 Chevrolet Malibu in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue and stole her purse.

On Thursday at 2:44 p.m., a Walmart employee said a 34-year-old Airport Road man stole three hoverboards valued at $594.

On November 5 at 11:31 p.m., a 77-year-old First Avenue woman said the screen on her shed had been removed and damaged after officers answered an alarm call.

On Monday at 1:09 p.m., a Slim Street man said he found a stolen U-Haul trailer on his property in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Drive.

On Sunday at 2:30 p.m., a 34-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman said someone broke into her 2008 Chevrolet Impala.

On Thursday at 7:10 p.m., a 32-year-old Patricia Drive woman said someone broke into a 2013 Nissan Altima and a 2006 Chevrolet in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue and stole $30 in cash.

On November 5 at 4:10 p.m., a 46-year-old Barnes Street woman said someone broke into her home through a window and stole an assortment of prescription drugs, $900 cash, an assortment of food, a 32-inch TV, a 44-inch TV, a C-PAP machine, an assortment of baby clothes valued at $200, a iPhone 11 valued at $999, a gun and a social security card.

On November 6 at 12:09 p.m., a 2017 Buick Regal SD and a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 36-year-old Kentwood Lane woman and a 42-year-old Maybelle Street man were involved in an accident in the 200 block of West Augusta Street that resulted in damage to both vehicles.

On Thursday at 2:45 p.m., a Walmart employee said that a 34-year-old Airport Road man stole two Eclipse brand hoverboards valued at $360 and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

On Thursday at 7:21 p.m., a 30-year-old Elaine Street woman said that while she was at church at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue someone went into her car and rambled through her glove compartment and middle console.

On Friday at 9:40 p.m., a Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant employee said a woman he didn't know, driving a 2010 GMC, ate $70 worth of food and left without paying for it.

On November 5 at 5:40 p.m., a 60-year-old Atkins Drive woman said someone damaged her 2006 Ford 500 in the 400 block of Johnson Avenue.

On November 5 at 1:01 p.m., a 63-year-old Hampton Street man said someone broke into his 2008 Toyota Camry and his 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche.

On Friday at 11:39 a.m., a Double Quick employee said a heavyset man wearing a black coat, black hat and blue jeans pulled up to a pump at the U.S. 82 store in a black Dodge Charger with an eagle tag on front, pumped $42 worth of gas and drove off without paying for it.

On October 26 at 3:19 a.m., a Double Quick employee said someone broke into the B.B. King Road store.

On Monday at 7:01 a.m., a 39-year-old Oak Street woman and a 71-year-old Oak Street woman said someone broke into their 2017 Dodge truck and 2013 Nissan truck.

The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County jail November 5 to November 12,

On November 6 at 5:19 p.m., Alexandria Jennings, 19, 1008 East Grand Ave., Inverness was arrested and charged with two counts of contempt of court.

On Thursday at 6:50 a.m., Gary Eugene Boyles Jr., 38, 203 Virginia St., was arrested and charged with suspended driver's license, possession of drug paraphernalia, grand larceny and failure to yield to blue lights.

On Thursday at 2:28 p.m., David Chad Carter, 50, 267 Baird Road was arrested and charged with probation violation.

On Friday at 6:05 p.m., Jerry Carl Brown 35, 115 South Wilson St., Sunflower was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct--failure to obey officers, resisting arrest and simple assault—threatening.

On Friday at 6:29 p.m., Gregory Dennis Brown, 30, 27 Bush Holman Road, Doddsville was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct – failure to obey officers and improper equipment on a vehicle.

On Saturday at 12:57 a.m., Damion A. Johnson, 28, 2034 Northwood Lake Court, Duluth, Georgia was arrested and charged with speeding and DUI (first offense).

On Saturday at 10:26 a.m., William Criddle, 41, 120 Walton Ave., Vardaman, Mississippi was arrested and charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.

On Sunday at 5:52 p.m., Dalton Earl Lipe, 22, 187 Lowry Road, Boyle, Mississippi was arrested and charged with willful trespassing and shoplifting.

On Sunday at 11:43 p.m., Diane Carter, 51, 411 Mimosa Dr was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
