Indianola police made the following arrests,

On Saturday at 10:07 p.m., Azarion Zondel Thompson, 32, 109 South Lamar St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting and trespassing after notice of non-permission after a Walmart employee said he stole $21 worth of snow crabs.

On Sunday at 2:17 p.m., Jessie Lee Hodges, 30, 406 Chandler St., was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits after officers were called to the 400 block of Chandler Street about a domestic dispute. Officers reportedly seized a .30 caliber Glock 23 handgun with a 12-round clip, a .223 Wylde AR Eagle Arms rifle, a Magpul Gen 2 magazine and a 20-round Remington .223 cartridge.

In other calls,

On Saturday at 7:24 p.m., a 39-year-old Jefferson Street woman called police about an incorrigible 16-year-old girl.

On Sunday at 3:04 a.m., a 42-year-old Sergeant Charlie Cooley Avenue, Greenwood woman said someone had stolen her 2004 Ford Expedition from the 700 block of Hoover Street, but it turned out that her husband had the car.

On October 1 at 4:50 p.m., a Gardner Street woman said someone damaged the passenger side window on her 2015 Nissan Altima.

On Saturday at 11:13 a.m., a 51-year-old Main Street man said a 52-year-old Huddleston Street, Leland man, driving a 2009 Nissan Armada, damaged signs and mailboxes with a grill at Alford's Monograms and Signs and Lost Pizza Co., on U.S. 82.

On Sunday at 3:43 p.m., a 19-year-old Spruce Street woman said a 35-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman threatened her.

On October 1 at 4:23 p.m., a 54-year-old Hopper Road woman said that a man was weedeating and damaged the window on her 2018 Cadillac XT5.

On Monday at 11:30 p.m., a 19-year-old Hoover Street woman said a 27-year-old Hoover Street woman pulled a gun on her and pointed it at her head during a verbal argument.

On Thursday at 12:36 p.m., a 75-year-old First Avenue man said someone keeps calling and harassing him.

On October 2 at 7:16 p.m., a Kim Hermon Cove woman said her 17-year-old grandson, a Kim Hermon Cove boy, hit her nine-year-old granddaughter on the right side of the face with a pair of binoculars during an argument and she wants to file charges against him for assault.

On Friday at 8:31 a.m., a Church Street woman said someone stole a wooden table and three wooden chairs from George's Lounge.

On Saturday at 9:33 p.m., a 66-year-old Roosevelt Street woman said a 16-year-old Roosevelt Street boy stole her TV.

On October 2 at 6:11 p.m., a 30-year-old Johnson Street woman driving a 2000 Ford FE said that while she was stopped at a stop sign in the Walmart parking lot, an 18-year-old Roosevelt Street man, driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, ran into the back of her car. No injuries or damage was reported.

On Friday at 10:35 a.m., a Walmart employee said a 52-year-old Belk Road, Sunflower woman stole a Hisense 43-inch TV valued at $228.

On Sunday at 11:07 a.m., a Roosevelt Street woman said her 16-year-old son was creating a disturbance at their home.

On October 2 at 7:47 am, a 59-year-old Lincoln Street man said his 2007 Chevrolet pickup was stuck in a pothole in the area of Clay and Gray streets.

On Sunday at 4:29 p.m., a 19-year-old Spruce Street woman, a 26-year old North Elmwood circle woman, a Southwest Plaza woman, a 35-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman and a 22-year-old Second Street woman were reportedly arrested for disturbing the peace in the 200 block of Church Street , but subsequently bonded out. The 22-year-old Second Street woman, a 26-year-old Frisbee Lane woman, and a 24-year-old Janet Davis Circle woman are listed as the victims.

On Saturday at 10:50 p.m., a 40-year-old Sandy Drive woman said a 36-year-old Gardner Street man was harassing her in the 100 block of Sandy drive and also violated a protection order.

The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County jail October 1 to October 8,

On Sunday at 5:16 p.m., Phalandria Griffin, 19, 703 North Elmwood Circle was arrested and charged with simple assault—bodily harm, harassment and disturbing the peace.

The following persons were booked into the Sunflower County jail September 24 to October 1,

On September 24 at 6:48 p.m., Edna Ruth Robinson, 53, 810 Airport Road, Apt. C-19 was arrested and charged with contempt of court.

On September 25 at 10:30 a.m., Edwin Terrell Brown, 46, 149 Teasdale Road, Charleston, Mississippi was arrested and charged with armed robbery and murder.

On September 25 at 11:48 p.m., Freddie Jones, Jr., 35, 635 Roosevelt St., was arrested and charged with petit larceny--personal property of another ($1,000 or less).

On September 25 at 11:45 p.m., Joseph Lorenzo Reynold, 26, 906 Oak St., Inverness was arrested and charged with speeding, reckless driving, driving with suspended/revoked driver's license and two counts of disregarding a traffic device.

On Friday at 11:35 a.m., Sammion Lakes Gordon, 24, 110 Stockyard Road, Apt. 7, Sunflower was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and failure to comply with the request of an officer.

On Saturday at 12:03 p.m., Mary Magdelene Wilson, 56, 110 Capshaw Drive was arrested and charged with contempt of Municipal Court.

On Saturday at 2:21 p.m., Edmond Brand, 59, 405 North Oak St., Ruleville was arrested and charged with contempt of court--failure to appear on a bench warrant.

On Monday at 12:35 p.m., Eugene Mitchell McShane, 44, 104 Janet Davis Circle was arrested and charged with trespassing after notice of non-permission, shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.
