Barnes ensures Moody’s memory will live on

Indianola native Roscoe Barnes III has been working to preserve the memory of Civil Rights activist Anne Moody and her contributions to the movement for several years. The most recent accomplishment is the renaming of a portion of Highway 24 in Wilkinson County for Moody. The dedication for the new sign was held recently.
