While the rest of the area is singing “Rain, Rain Go Away”, Girl Scouts Heart of the South is proud to announce that the rain means their Cookie Season has grown from four weeks to five weeks.
Girl Scout Cookies will now be on sale through Sunday, March 24.
Girl Scout Cookies will be available from the troops at Kroger, Walmart, Lowe’s and a host of other places around the 59 counties in west Tennessee, north Mississippi and Crittenden County, Ark. that the council covers.
Anyone interested in purchasing Girl Scout Cookies can call the Girl Scout that previously sold cookies to the individual.
This coming weekend (March 15 – 17) and the next promise to be sunny and great weekends to get out and get some cookies.
So, anyone who is pining away for some Thin Mints, or wants to get along with some Tagalongs or is just really hungry for S’mores, will now have an extra week and weekend to buy cookies.
Don’t forget – buy enough to last you until next January, after all they freeze beautifully and allow one to enjoy their favorite treat all year long.
