U.S. Army Maj. Matt Hodges spoke to the Indianola Rotary Club this week about his experiences during his 15-plus years of service to his country. An IA graduate, Hodges has received multiple awards and decorations. He has served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Afghanistan. He and his wife, Rachel - an Army Captain, are currently stationed in Belgium at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and will be there until 2020. Hodges was the guest of Rotarian Lake Baird. He is pictured above, along with his wife Rachel, mother Carrie Hodges and Baird.
