Valerie Morgan, co-director of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” visited the Indianola Lions Club to share fun details about the play as well as a little history of MDAA. Morgan shared what an honor and privilege it is to be able to direct a play that she starred in as a teenager in junior high school. The play is about a church Christmas pageant that has its ups and downs. It’s funny and heart-warming; and it shows what Christmas is really about. Performances are still ongoing with a show tonight, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. It will showcase 38 local children plus adults. Mid-Delta Arts Association has been the place where the community’s talented people have been able to shine for many years. MDAA’s goal this year is to have 200 patrons and they are about eight patrons from that goal. Pictured are Lion John Maggio and Valerie Morgan.
