Sunflower Humphreys Counties Progress, Inc held its annual community celebration on Thursday that highlights the agency’s programs and services in addition to acknowledging its partnering organizations.
Several governmental figures were scheduled to present proclamations that included the mayors from several of the cities being served by SHCPI, the Sunflower County Board of Supervisors’ president as well as a State Representative.
CEO Monica Hope also presented the Community Action Partnership award to several of the SHCPI staff members. The CAP award was presented to employees from the organization’s various departments as an expression of appreciation for a job well done.
The event also featured live music, food and prizes plus the attendees had access to information on the agency’s individual services and services from other vendors.
