Girl Scout Troop 30105 had a great cookie season, according to troop leader Kavarica McCurry. McCurry expressed much thanks to the children’s parents and faithful supporters.
The troop held its annual recognition day recently and the girls enjoyed the camaraderie with their sisters and as a special treat they started their Saturday by touring the Grammy Museum in Cleveland.
In addition, the girls learned a new skill—t-shirt making—received all of their prizes, and finished the day at Zaxby’s for a celebratory meal.
McCurry said it warms her heart to see so many hard working little people ready to roll up their sleeves and live up to their Girl Scout Promise. “Troop 30105 is all about creating memories the girls can use for a lifetime while earning funds to power life-changing adventures,” she said.
McCurry asserted that girls in her troop’s age group are the youngest entrepreneurs and through the programs set forth the girls are taught about being self-confident, persistent, how to set goals, and how to cultivate customers for life.
