We are issuing an E-T Weather Alert Day for late Wednesday and especially Thursday (New Year's Eve). The highest threat for severe weather will be along and south of I-20, but that could change as forecast confidence continues to increase. The primary concern for the Delta will be strong wind, heavy downpours, and lightning, but a spin-up tornado can't be ruled out.
Bottom line, it would be a good idea to have your devices charged such as your cell phones, tablets, and fresh batteries in your NOAA Weather Radio, and be sure to follow our Facebook pages
