Slight chances for some wintry weather will be possible this weekend both Saturday and Sunday. This won’t be anything major, but some slick spots could o cur on roads and especially bridges and overpasses. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and lower 30’s, with lows in the 20’s and teens.
The most concerning system will arrive late Sunday into Monday. We are issuing an E-T Weather Alert Day due to the potential of a major winter storm. As far as impacts are concerned, we’re expecting a mixed bag of freezing rain, sleet, and a little snow. Travel will be treacherous, and power outages will be possible area wide. Please take the time now to prepare, and remember to bring your pets indoors!
Temperatures will struggle to get back above freezing Tuesday and Wednesday, and yet another system could bring wintry weather through the Delta Wednesday night. We will get more specific on that over the coming days.
We will keep you posted with the latest information over the weekend. I expect ice storm warnings and winter storm warnings to be issued by Sunday...God bless
