Services for Rosie Binder of Sunflower will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walker Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Doddsville. Burial will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery, Blaine.
Ms. Binder, 90, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility, Ruleville.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Dillon Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
Pastor Willie Binder will officiate at the services.
Ms. Binder is survived by: nine sons, Tommy Binder of Sunflower, Johnny Binder of Doddsville, Robert Binder of Ruleville, Albert Binder of Columbus, Ga. and Charles Binder, Willie Binder, Sylvester Binder, Freddie Binder and Winston Binder, all of Blaine; one daughter, Marilyn Watson of Sunflower; two sisters, Carrie Richardson of Lancaster, Calif. and Ida Benson of Hesperia, Calif.; one brother, Fred Sherman of Las Vegas; 47 grandchildren; 95 great-children; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
