Delois Collins Williams

Graveside services for Delois Collins Williams, 65, of Indianola will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Memorial Gardens with Pastor Annie Hill officiating. Delois departed this life Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

Delois leaves to cherish her loving memories: two daughters: Debra (Bobby) Ray of Indianola and Gwendolyn (Stanley) Nicholes of Killeen, Texas; one son, Bernard Williams Jr. of Indianola; one stepson: Kelvin Knight of Indianola; nine sisters, Annie Hill of Waukegan, Ill, Ruby Riley, Linda Kimber and Geraldine (Frank) Ray, all of Holly Ridge, Ethel (James) Goston, Shirley (Cordee) Davenport and Stella Collins, all of Indianola, Earnestine Decell of St. Louis and Brenda Knowlton of Lithia Springs, Ga.; four brothers: Fairchild (Gloria) Jones of Union City, Tenn., J.P. Collins Jr. (Jessie) and Michael (Yvonne) Collins, both of Indianola and Johnny Collins of Holly Ridge; two aunts, Catherine Collins of Indianola and Minnie Robinson of Chicago; 12 grandchildren, Kimkonya Williams of Indianola (raised as a daughter), Francesca (Mario) Taylor of San Antonio, Texas, Gwendella and Damiou Williams, both of St. Louis, Andre Crowley Jr. and Bernadette Williams, both of Killeen, Texas, Marvin Chavers Jr., B.J. Phillip, Zaria Phillip, Bernard Williams III and Lemetria Williams, all of Indianola and Gregory Williams of Akron, Ohio; 10 great-grandchildren, De’Marvion, TaKyla and Mario Taylor Jr., all of San Antonio, Khaliah McKinney, and Amiyah and Zay Crowley, all of St. Louis, Nellie and London Ellis and Pierre Fredricks, all of Killen and Skylar Chavers of Indianola; one great-great-grandchild, Fredrick Birkley Jr. of Indianola; one godson, Johnny Hughes of Indianola; two special friends that were like sisters, Johnnie McCloud Olufosoy of Waukegan, Ill. and Essie Rainry of Columbia, Mo.; a host of sisters and brothers from another mother; the McCloud family of Waukegan; the Sutton family of Columbia, Mo.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends whom she all loved.
