Mary Kathryn Robertson

Mary Kathryn Robertson, 29, of Winona, formerly of Indianola, was tragically taken from this life Friday, August 15, 2019 at her home.

Mary Kathryn, affectionately known as "Kat", was born Nov. 28, 1989 in Paragould, Ark. and was the daughter of David Hubert Robertson and Linda Anne Fitts Robertson. She was very organized and loved to cook and clean. Kat enjoyed fishing and stargazing. She was a very loyal friend to all of her friends. Kat always loved the underdog and tried to help people to a fault. Her most trusted friend and companion was “Coco”, a teddy bear that her mother gave her when she was sick as a child. She carried Coco everywhere with her and eventually passed him down to her children. Kat loved her family, especially her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Kat was a member of Winona Church of Christ in Winona.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Fitts Robertson; maternal grandfather, Earsell Fitts; and paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Robertson.

Kat is survived by her father, David Robertson of Indianola; son, Christian Lee Locke of Winona; daughter, Alyssa Anne Hutchinson of Cascilla; paternal grandfather, Hubert Robertson of Indianola; maternal grandmother, Sue Fitts of Greenville; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services will follow in Indianola City Cemetery.

Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
