Johnson, Chambers to exchange vows May 11

Manfred and Sylvia Johnson and Nancy Roscoe, all of Indianola, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kiona Nicole Johnson, of Hattiesburg, to Melvin Gene Chambers II, also of Hattiesburg, son of Katherine Chambers of Moorhead and the late Melvin Chambers Sr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Johnson and the late Leonard O’Neal and Turner Armstrong and the late Willie Armstrong, all of Indianola and Henry Ratliff Jr. of Greenville.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of J.C. Chambers and the late Rosie Chambers and the late Ernest and Albertdean Bush, all of Moorhead.

Miss Johnson and Mr. Chambers are both 2010 graduates of Gentry High School.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 o’clock in the afternoon Saturday, May 11, 2019 at The Historic Elks Lodge, 102 West Washington Street in Greenwood.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
