Car crashes into Jefferson St. home

A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban crashed into a house on Jefferson Street, shaking the home of Bertha White-Harris and her disabled husband.
The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Jan. 30, according to Harris and official reports.

Moorhead citizens receive food boxes, blankets and hot soup

Extreme cold temperatures did not stop members of a dedicated team from sharing their time and love with Moorhead families on Saturday morning at the local fire station.
Nearly 350 emergency food boxes, water and 150 thermal blankets were shared at the giveaway, along with 100 bowls of hot vegetable soup.
