1. What is your circulation?

Our circulation is 4,000, and reaches about 10,000 readers. This assumes the average reader rate of 2.5 based on studies by the National Newspaper Association. The Enterprise-Tocsin is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service and is also available in stores and news racks throughout the county and surrounding area.

2. How often do you publish?

Our newspaper is published on Thursdays. 

3. What is your coverage area?

We cover all of Sunflower County, from top to bottom. We cover all four area high schools' athletics and school news, including Gentry High School, Indianola Academy, Thomas Edwards Senior High and North Sunflower Academy. The E-T can be purchased at all Double Quick stores throughout the county, as well as in Leland, Isola and Belzoni. We also have racks at The E-T office at 114 Main Street in Indianola, Turner's Downtown Marketplace, 82 Outlet, 82 Express and Shoppers Value. Click here to view all rack and dealer locations. 

4. How do I submit a news or sports item?

When submitting photos for publication, please attach them in jpeg format at the highest possible resolution. Please identify everyone in the photos.

We actively seek engagement announcements, weddings, awards and achievements, school news, letters to the editor or anything relevant to our community. We are a community newspaper, and we want to keep our readers informed about anything going on in Sunflower County or news about Sunflower County natives. Our staff writers also welcome news tips.

5. How do I place an ad in your newspaper?

Just call one of our advertising representatives at 662-887-2222 or send an email to advertising@enterprise-tocsin.com or bdavis@enterprise-tocsin.com. Tell us what you want and our production staff will quickly design an advertisement that fits your needs. There is no charge for ad design and composition.

6. What’s the cost to advertise?

The open rate is $10 per column inch. Color charges are $75 for a quarter page, $100 for a half page and $150 for a full page ad. 

For example, a full color quarter page ad would cost $315. A full color half page ad would cost $580. A full page full color ad would cost $1,110.

7. How do I subscribe?

Just call 662-887-2222, e-mail bdavis@enterprise-tocsin.com or visit our office at 114 Main Street. Subscription rates in Sunflower County are $30 per year. For subscriptions outside of Sunflower County the rate is $40 per year. 

8. Does your publication include classified ads?

Yes, and our rates are very low. Contact us at 662-887-2222 or e-mail dbethel@enterprise-tocsin.com to place an ad.

9. What are your business hours?

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

10. Where is your newspaper printed?

Our pages are designed and composed by our staff in Indianola before being electronically transferred to the printing press at the Delta Democrat Times in Greenville. We then transport the papers back to Sunflower County for distribution.

11. What are the politics of your publications?

Our editorial opinions are based on what we believe is right and not influenced by political affiliation. We also welcome opposing viewpoints. We believe that the exchange of different ideas and opinions is an essential part of our mission. Letters to the editor and guest columns are strongly encouraged.
