The Enterprise-Tocsin is one of the oldest existing businesses in the Mississippi Delta and has been serving readers in Sunflower County since 1888.
At one time, there were two newspapers in Sunflower County, The Sunflower Tocsin and The Indianola Enterprise. Those two papers merged in 1955 to form The Enterprise-Tocsin.
We are a proud weekly newspaper, covering all things Sunflower County, from Rome to Caile, including local government, education, community, sports, weddings and more.
In addition to our weekly print edition, we publish several magazines throughout the year, including a spring and fall issue of Sunflower Journey, Profile (February), The Sunflower County Medical Guide (March) and our new business card directory, along with a host of other special sections.
We also have a new and improved website, as you can see, that covers hyperlocal news, as well as leveraging Emmerich Newspapers' wide reach throughout the state for statewide news. The E-T website is updated multiple times a day, with news articles and videos.
