Services for Alexander Smith of Indianola will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 30, at Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland. Burial will follow at Mount Galilee Cemetery, Ruleville.
Mr. Smith, 27, died Friday, August 15, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, August 29, at the funeral home.
The Rev. Melvin Matthews will officiate at the services.
Alexander is survived by: his mother, Morika Smith; four brothers, Kyrin Smith, Corey Smith, Zahmiir Patterson and Zamamaar Patterson; one sister, Zahnye Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
