Services for Bertha Barnes of Indianola were at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, Indianola. Burial followed at Riverside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Barnes died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola.
Visitation was from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Dillon Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
Pastor Melvin Walker will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by: four sons, Roscoe Barnes of Natchez, Wiley Barnes of Leland, Roy Barnes of Indianola and Emerson Barnes of Kennedale, Texas; two daughters, Alberta Harrington of Indianola and Aslea Jacobs of Arlington, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
