The Bingo Buddies took home a bagful of gifts thanks to their sponsor a couple of weeks ago. Emma Harris wasn’t able to join us but she made sure we had a good time at our weekly games and we sure did! Not only did we play our special games but we included a special “Y game” in memory of her late son, Yannick. The winner of the special “Y game” was none other than Emma’s classmate, Martha Martin.
Emma will always be appreciated and the “Y game” will be added as one of our weekly specials.

Young people, both living here and those who have moved away, have shown their love for the Delta and Sunflower County by giving back and helping to support the weekly therapeutic games of the Sunflower County Senior Citizen Bingo Buddies. They have said, in various ways, “We care.”
Businesses in the community have supported the elderly, families have joined together and supported the elderly, and now Dennis Tilmon and the New Hope M. B. Church of Blaine have shown how they support the elderly. The Bingo Buddies had no idea this week how they were going to have their weekly games but through the grace of God, New Hope came through for us. Thank you Dennis Tilmon and the entire New Hope family. We are a nonprofit organization and all our games are sponsored by the donations of caring people who share our concerns about Alzheimer’s and dementia and how they affect families.
