On Friday, June 13, 2025, Delta Council will hold its 90th Annual Meeting at Delta State University. The Delta 1000 event is slated for 9:15 a.m. at McPherson Recital Hall in the Bologna Performing Arts Center. Brad Todd, nationally recognized political strategist, author, and commentator, will be the featured guest for the event.
Delta 1000 is a program initiated by Delta Council over 30 years ago to ask members of Delta Council to pay $100 above and beyond their regular membership dues. This support through the Delta 1000 program has helped Delta Council maintain one of the most effective area-wide economic development programs in the nation.
“We are honored to welcome Brad Todd to the Delta,” said Delta Council President Tripp Hayes of Clarksdale. “His work at the intersection of politics, media, and culture will provide a unique and insightful message for our members as we work on the challenges and opportunities facing our region."
Brad Todd is a founding partner at OnMessage Inc., a leading political strategy and media firm. He is widely known for managing some of the most successful campaign efforts in the country. Todd is also a published author and co-wrote The Great Revolt, a Washington Post bestselling book analyzing the evolving landscape of American politics. In addition to his political work, Todd has advised national commercial brands, sports teams, and foundations. He is also the founder of Coach to Cure MD, a charity effort involving college football coaches to support research and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Originally from Roane County, Tennessee, Todd earned a B.A. from Rhodes College and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He lives in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
