Mayors all win again in municipal elections

There were no real shockers when it came to municipal mayoral races in Sunflower County this week.
Five out of the five incumbents all kept their seats, with only four municipalities holding elections this past Tuesday.

Gentry High ninth grader scores 26 on ACT on the first try

Mia Gant has always had a love for math.
“I find it easy,” she told The Enterprise-Tocsin in an interview this week.
The rising Gentry High School sophomore on her first attempt recently scored a 26 on the ACT college admissions exam.

Street smarts
