Nominations are currently open for the Morris Lewis Jr. Citizen of the Year. The Indianola Chamber Main Street award will be given during the organization’s annual mixer on April 28.
Nominations are open until April 4.
Criteria for nominations are: One who is or has been an active citizen in the affairs of Indianola and has made positive contributions to the city in addition to his/her own successful business or occupation.
A nomination application appears on Page 21.
Past recipients will vote for this year’s COY at a later date. The current Chamber president will cast a vote as a tiebreaker if needed.
The previous year’s winner will present the new recipient at the mixer.
Applications may be picked up at any time at the Chamber’s office at 112 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
They may be returned there or scanned and emailed to indianolachamberms@gmail.com.
