Explorers Bible Study
Explorers Bible Study announces its Fall 2025 classes, which are now in progress. MONDAY evening classes meet at 6:30 p.m. and THURSDAY morning classes meet at 9:15 a.m. Both classes are held at Indianola First Methodist Church. This year the gospel of John will be studied. The cost of a study book is $30 with scholarships available for any participant upon request. Contact Sara Ann Harris at 662-207-7741 for more info. Back-to-School Fun Day & Youth Day Service
New Jerusalem, King Solomon and Oak Grove churches will host a Back-to-School Fun Day beginning at 11 a.m. SATURDAY, AUG. 16. This event will be held at New Jerusalem Church, 1003 Airport Road, Indianola. School supplies will be given away and there will be food and fun for everyone! A Youth Day Service will be held at New Jerusalem on SUNDAY, AUG. 17.
Pastor and Wife Service Program
First United Baptist Church, located at 720 Coolidge Street, Indianola, cordially invites you to help them celebrate 31 years of service honoring Rev. and Mrs. Clifford D. Wilson for their dedication, unwavering support, and love to the church and community. This inspirational program will take place the THIRD SUNDAY (AUG. 17) during the regular morning service at 11 a.m. The guest minister will be Rev. Norman Mack of St. John M.B. Church.
Annual Church Revival
Big Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, located at 510 Chandler Avenue, Indianola (the corner of Hannah and Chandler), cordially invites the public to attend their Annual Revival to be held at 6 p.m. nightly on TUESDAY, AUG.19 and WEDNESDAY, AUG. 20. The guest minister on Tuesday night will be Rev. Roosevelt Yarbarugh, pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Port Gibson. Minister Johnny Beckworth of Indianola will be the guest speaker on Wednesday night.
Revival Services
All are invited at 7 p.m. nightly TUESDAY, AUG. 19 through THURSDAY, AUG. 21, as Shady Grove M.B. Church holds Revival Services at their 400 Little Milton Avenue, Inverness, location. Rev. J.D. Yates of Greenville will be the guest minister.
Soul Saving Revival
All are invited as Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church of Moorhead presents a Soul Saving Revival at 7 p.m. nightly AUG. 20-22. The guest speaker will be Pastor Joseph Wilson.
Family and Friends Day
Pleasant Grove M.B. Church cordially invites you to their Family and Friends Day program at 11 a.m. SUNDAY, AUG. 24. Rev. Jerry Williams will be the guest speaker.
Pastor Anniversary
