Annual Women’s History Month Program
The Dorothy I. Height Quad Counties Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) will host its annual Women’s History Month program at 3 p.m. SUNDAY, MAR. 9, at Mount Beulah Baptist Church, 310 Church Avenue, Indianola. The speaker for the event will be their own assistant chaplain, Rev. Dr. Alice Crenshaw, pastor of Turner Chapel AME Church, Greenwood. They hope you will join them for this momentous occasion. Spring Revival
The public is cordially invited as Silver Star M. B. Church, located at 208 Main Street, Rome, hosts its Spring Revival on WEDNESDAY, MAR. 12 and THURSDAY, MAR. 13. On March 12th, the speaker will be Dr. Kelly Westbrook of New Directional Church in Minter City. On March 13th, the speaker will be Pastor Winfred Hill of Mt. Calvery M. B. Church of Glendora. The King Solomon, New Jerusalem and Oak Grove Mission Ministry will host their Annual Spring Give-Away at 10 a.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 19. This event will take place at the free park on Church Street in Indianola. There will be clothing, household items, shoes and MORE – and EVERYTHING WILL BE FREE!!!
