Sunday Sounds of Praise Worship Service
With Pastor E.C. Pitchford serving as host, New Providence M.B. Church presents its Sunday Sounds of Praise Worship Service to take place at 5 p.m. SUNDAY, MAR. 30. Included will be performances by The Starlight Singers of Lexington, J.C. Sounds of Durant, Conner Campbell & Friends of Lexington, and The Cobbins Brothers of Black Hawk. The church is located at 305 Quiver Street, Sunflower.
First Anniversary
The members of The Lamp Ministries, located at 901 Oak Street, Inverness, cordially invite the public to come and help them celebrate their First Anniversary at a celebration which will begin at 7 p.m. FRIDAY, APRIL 4. The speaker will be Pastor Kenneth Scott of New Life Apostolic Church located in Jackson. The celebration will conclude at 4 p.m. SUNDAY, APRIL 6, with District Elder Willie Ford as the speaker. He is the pastor of Pentecostal Assembly of Faith in Crystal Springs. Dinner will be served after the evening service on Sunday at the Inverness Community Center.
Annual Youth Day Program
The youth of First United Baptist Church, located at 718 Coolidge Street, Indianola, cordially invites you to their Annual Youth Day program at 11 a.m. SUNDAY, APRIL 6. They have worked tirelessly in preparation for this day, and are excited to share their love for Christ with you. The speaker for this special day will be their own Brayden Jones, a sophomore at Gentry High School and a superintendent’s scholar. The theme is "Youth, choose to serve God rather than the idols of this world." Joshua 24:15. They are looking forward to fellowshipping with you.
Annual Spring Give-Away
The King Solomon, New Jerusalem and Oak Grove Mission Ministry will host their Annual Spring Give-Away at 10 a.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 19. This event will take place at the free park on Church Street in Indianola. There will be clothing, household items, shoes and MORE – and EVERYTHING WILL BE FREE!!!
