America was founded by Europeans. Europeans, by ancestry and race, are Caucasian, as historically have also been people of North Africa and southwest Asia. (See definition, Merriam-Webster Dictionary on-line at merriam-webster.com.) Caucasians are shades of brown and white by varying degrees of skin pigmentation.
America’s founders were Protestant, with the exception of one Catholic who signed the Declaration of Independence and two who signed the U.S. Constitution. They established a government that recognized Natural Law and the God-given rights of man. This framework came from Western philosophy and Judeo-Christian theology. The country’s founders recognized what the Old Testament attests, that God is the source of all truth. They were all reading from the same book. Four different times in his first inaugural address George Washington called upon God to guide and preserve the new nation.
I hear people say that attacks on our historical and moral traditions are “crazy” and “insane.” I think they are wrong. The attacks are not insane. They are hostile and evil. They are intentionally inflicted. For all her innate beauty and goodness based on truth, there are those who for unjustifiable reasons would destroy the United States. They are hostile to the cause and idea of freedom in America. These enemies are not mentally deranged, but they compel confusion and harm where there once was harmony and peace. They deceive. One example of their deceptive methods concerns race, encouraging terrible discord.
There is a familiar Biblical commandment to love thy neighbor. Racism is contrary to that commandment. Though there can be no classes of virtue or the virtuous, nor of sins or sinners, there has been devised by some a special variety of racism in which there is only one class of racist. The sin is secular, and punishment is imposed and suffered on earth. Those who define the sin and declare the sinners are in league with one ideology and almost never held to account by a liberal press. Thanks to that confederacy, racism has been redefined. It has been equated with and condensed into “whiteness.” In short, being Caucasian is a sin. Rather, it is The Sin. It is being falsely used as a ground for legal discrimination and an excuse for hatred.
A person might ask how this is different from “blackness” being a basis for legal discrimination and excuse for hatred. Why should any children be subjected to cruel messages from less-than-objective media and poisonous lessons taught by radical teachers to feel shame for their skin color, whatever the tone? Haven’t the good people of the decent race of men described by Dr. Frankl worked to get rid of this hurtful lie? An objective national press and media should be calling out the bigoted hypocrisy. Instead, our nation’s enemies, foreign and domestic, and our civilization’s enemies, national and international, freely promote this evil and the intentional disruption it brings to domestic tranquility. In that context “whiteness” does not stand for race but for Western Civilization and, by target, its governments. The same subterfuge is taking place in Europe and being advanced world-wide.
Marxism teaches that by means of anarchy and chaos there comes communism. Between capitalism and communism lies socialism. Marxist “class consciousness” was used in Germany to establish the National Socialist German Workers’ (Nazi) Party and in Russia to establish the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It continues to be used in China under the Chinese Communist Party. This devious deception of oppressed and oppressor is also used in the rules for agitating “to the point of conflict” that Alinsky designed for radicalization of the United States. (As Federal oaths of office wisely recognize, enemies can be both foreign and domestic.)
Our enemies have several things in common. Primarily, totalitarian ideologies and atheist philosophies. One is the antithesis of freedom and the other the antithesis of truth, which is neither eternal nor universal under governments and societies that recognize no god. Theirs is a hatred of religion and a hatred for the God they profess not to believe in. They strongly favor modern secularism – an extreme separation of church and state that was never intended by God-fearing men. Their governments also declare a separated church and state. But they do so with the ultimate goal of eliminating religious faith, the institution which they despise. The scheme as personally devised is described by Karl Marx in The Communist Manifesto and its implementation is depicted, as personally experienced, by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in The Gulag Archipelago.
The critical question is: What can be done in America to counter and overcome the evil that spreads these lies while promoting every vice known to man and some that seem new to the world? The vital answer is that the nation be returned to the fundamental standards of Western Civilization on which it was founded: traditional Western philosophy and Judeo-Christian theology.
The standards are ancient. They have come from and been defended by wise men and women, secular and religious. Today, the necessity for rejuvenation of those standards is recognized by wise men and women again. Innocents’ blood and tears of mourning have been spent to create, grow, and preserve this country, this civilization. The investment has been costly, but freedom preserved in truth is worth the cost. It’s no time to be wobbly.
Recognizing my deficiency in the virtue, I pray for wisdom every day. But I can read and I can reason. These have formed my belief and opinion, expressed here.
