Chaley Brunetti Rosenthal recently spoke to Indianola Lions Club members about the importance of "play therapy" in treating young people suffering from a wide range of issues. Chaley is a licensed professional counselor for the State of Mississippi and she holds a master’s in counseling and an education specialist degree in play therapy.
Play therapy can be used to treat, or used as a secondary treatment for issues such as: anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, autism spectrum disorder, crisis and trauma, grief and loss, and so much more.
Chaley is currently employed at Delta State University as the counseling laboratory director and conference coordinator for the Counseling and Psychology Department. She also sees patients in her private practice.
