Voting for Moorhead School Name
In an effort to involve the Moorhead community, the Sunflower County Consolidated School District invites citizens of Moorhead to vote on the name of the new school in Moorhead! Voting will take place from now through December 21 at the Moorhead City Hall during office hours. Please cast your vote to have your voice heard!
Magical Christmas Parade
Town of Sunflower “Magical Christmas Parade”will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. The line up will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Annie Mae Strong Building, 234 Torey Street. Entry forms can be picked up at Sunflower Town Hall. For more information, contact Sunflower Town Hall at 662-569-3388.

The December meeting of the Gentry High School Class of 1968 will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Celester Jones’ Hall. 401 W. Southern Avenue, Moorhead.
6th Annual Birthday Celebration
Jameshia Attaway is hosting her 6th Annual Birthday celebration in collaboration with Girl Scout Troop 30123 and Mayor Steve Rosenthal from 5 to 7 p.m. December 22 at the Indianola City Annex Building . Jameshia has been donating her birthday gifts for the past 5 years. All gifts collected will be donated to the less fortunate. If you would like to donate a gift please call 662-207-5278. Family Christmas
Ross and Bell Family are having their 6th Annual Christmas from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. December 24 at Fox Hole on Airport Road. There will be gifts for ages 6 months to 13 years old. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and other refreshments will be served. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
