Charter Bus for Gentry Rams
The Gentry High Atheltic Booster Club will sponsor a charter bus on Saturday to Horn Lake in support of the Rams and Rammettes Basketball teams. The price per seat is $20 per person. Class of ‘68
The December meeting of the Gentry High School Class of 1968 will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 16 at Celester Jones’ Hall. 401 W. Southern Avenue, Moorhead.
Special Local Advisory Committee Meeting
North Mississippi Rural Legal Services is having a Special Local Advisory Committee meeting to elect an individual in Humphreys, Leflore, Issaquena, Sharkey, Sunflower or Washington County to serve on its Local Advisory Committee, whose purpose is to advise the office of problems that exist in these communities and about providing legal services suited to the needs of these communities. The meeting will be held at the Greenville branch office located at 1024 Washington Avenue, Suite 101, at 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 11. Food Box Pickup
The Sunflower County Bill Richardson Civic Alliance Group will issue food boxes Monday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. to those certified to receive food boxes. Boxes not picked up by 12:15 Tuesday will be issued from 12:15 to 1 to persons on the waiting list. The group does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).

Sunflower County Consolidated School District December Board Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12 at the Drew Hunter Middle School, 10 Swoope Road, Drew, Mississippi 38737.
MSU Extension Service
nDue to the Holiday season, the Diabetic Support Group will meet today and December 14th. A lunch is served along with an educational component to help you better understand and manage your diabetes.

Ross and Bell Family are having their 6th Annual Christmas from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. December 24 at Fox Hole on Airport Road. There will be gifts for ages 6 months to 13 years old.
